Arabica vs Robusta: two worlds, two philosophies
At the heart of every cup of coffee lies a choice between two main species: Arabica and Robusta. Arabica represents refinement. It grows at higher altitudes, matures slowly, and develops complex sugars. This slow growth allows aromas to form gradually, resulting in a cup that feels elegant, layered, and expressive. Arabica coffees often reveal notes of fruit, flowers, chocolate, or caramel. They feel smooth on the palate, with a gentle acidity that brings brightness and clarity.
