What Says
What Is Espresso Really?
Espresso isn’t “strong coffee"
That’s the biggest myth in this entire industry.
Espresso is a brewing method, not a bean, not a roast, not a drink size. It’s hot water forced through finely ground coffee under high pressure. That pressure changes everything. It extracts oils, solids, and aromatic compounds in a way no other method can replicate.
The result is a concentrated shot with:
heavy body
intense flavor
a layer of crema on top
Crema isn’t decoration. It’s an emulsion of oils and gases created by pressure. It carries aroma. It gives texture. It disappears quickly — just like a good shot should.
This is why espresso tastes different.
Not stronger.
Different.
